Our November meeting promises to be very interesting.  As it falls on the 19th of November, just a week after Remembrance Day, we will hear a presentation about a fighter pilot from the second world war, Rocky Gordon, the grandfather of a local man, Jeff Gibson.  Rocky joined the RCAF near the outbreak of the war and flew combat missions almost daily for the next four years.  Please join us to hear more about this remarkable young man.

Our speaker on Tuesday is from the local detachment of the RCMP.  The constable will be accompanied by a 'civil servant' who will give us a talk about some of the latest scams that are designed to either separate us from our money or our personal identity.  This activity is ubiquitous and it is important for all of us to be aware.
